Is Christianity a Religion or just a way of life?

It's a religion. What a weird question.

how would you describe that "way of life"

it's a religion and a cult.

If you are a christian, it will tell in the kind of life you live. So definitely it is a way of life you have chosen for yourself

Christianity is more of a way of life than religion. Religion to a lay man is simply belonging to a particular gathering holding "similar" spiritual believe. But Christianity is a way of life of Jesus Christ that He (Jesus ) Commanded.

Religion has to do with worshiping a GOD while way of life is just human behavior. whoever says that Christianity is not a religion is indirectly saying that Jesus who we worship in Christianity is not God. Come to think of it, a people's religion determines their way of life and not the reverse, so, if Christianity is a way of life what religion dertermines it? The fact is that some people in a bid to create a new philosophy have decided to settle for less in this regard. There is no term that can be used to describe Christianity that is as good as and as complete as religion. We have to be careful of the changes we make in life especially in our beliefs so that we don't make things worse. cheers

If the above is correct, then there are hardly any Christians in Nigeriangoing by what Jesus had commanded:

[Mat 19:21] Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
                                                                                                                                                                                                        [Mark 10:21] Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

The Pastors or Church leaders are more of CON MEN out milk the populace (both rich and the poor) in the name of the Holy Spirit, in order to build or buy Mansions, Estates, Private Jets and send their children to choice schools at home and abroad.
They are quick to quote the Old Testament (OT) when it comes to tithes and offerings but when it comes to other issues, they'll tell you the OT is no longer valid!

As to the rest of the flock, I'm yet to see those willing to sell their properties and give the proceeds to the poor.
