Meanwhile, the 236Kbps I reported is the speed that usually shows up when I connect my Glo Bolt modem, while the 54Mbps was the one that displays immediately I connected my laptop using the galaxy Y pro through hotspot.

I know that. But glo has excellent 2g network. My browsing speed while using opera is just too much. The speed difference is only largely felt during downloads.

@Francheezy, recharge cards don't easily epire. It takes up to 3 years before a card can expire. By the way, when was the card sent to you? I am suggesting you contact them on the channel they sent the card to you. Thank you.
