Who Created GOD? by achi4u(m): 1:36pm On Dec 03, 2012
I believe in God the almighty who created heaven and earth(though nobody is there when the creation is ongoing) but our spirit made us to believe.
Am not trying to question the supermacy of the suprem God but:

1 How did God come to be,infact who created this GOD?

2 We have so many planet today...which one did GOD reside?

3 Anyone who have seen GOD?

*Am only searching for my true GOD*

You are dodging the question.

Isn't it better and more humble to simple say " we dont know" , rather trying to engage in mental gymnastics?

Because if you knew the answer, you would have answered the question. You still haven't.

The search for knowledge is something everyone should pursue. It is worthwhile to seek knowledge and like some people say: "Knowledge is power". The search for knowledge begins with the question: "WHY?". Why are we on earth? Who put us here? Did everyone come from the womb of his or her mother? If this is d case, then who gave birth to the first man and the first woman? So many questions but very few answers.Even the answer put forth by Darwin in his theory of evolution is really not satisfactory and that's why the theory never became a "law". The theory of the "big bang" as postulated by some others is still not enough to explain our existence cause the question remains: who or what created the "tools" that acted together to form the "bang"? If you are really sincere about your search then I would encourage you to be very objective if you were an atheist but you say you are a christian and I believe this should make it easier. Cause for Christians the first point of call is FAITH, even before the search for knowledge begins. Faith is a supernatural gift from God which enables us to believe without doubting whatever God has revealed. I will come back to this discourse later. I am actually on my way home. Thanks. But remember, as a christian, we believe in order to know.

"We believe in order to know".
So you believe that the earth was created 6000 yrs ago, and then when you learn in school that the earth is actually 4.7 billion yrs old,how do you reconcile you belief with what you now know?
Biggest piece of crap I have ever heard.
Absolute nonesense. I cannot believe that anyone would dare to put this kind of crap on a public forum in this 21st century.

Faith is a gift from god?.
Faith before knowledge? If you have faith that the sky is red,how then can you attain or accept the knowledge that the sky is blue?
If faith enables you to believe without doubting, then you are nowhere close to attaining factual knowledge.
Factual knowledge and faith are not compatible.

It's always book, book, book with you people. As soon as any fool publishes something that makes you feel comfortable, it becomes the truth.

You are quite a charmer! I hope you aint mad that I choose to believe in God because I am very sure you also believe in our inalienable right to choose what we want. The last time I checked the world was a free place to live, say or do what you want as long as it does not trample on the right of the next man. Your choice of words would suggest that we might have had a quarrel somewhere before. Tolerance is very important! The fact that I don't think or believe what you believe is the beauty of freedom.

Now, coming to some comments you made, I am very sure I did not mention anything like when the world was created.
Secondly, this "piece of crap" made it's way to this public forum in the 21st century because we are in the 21st century where everyone should be free to say their minds: just like someone would come out boldly to say he or she is gay, just like another would choose to say that he is in love with the devil and yet another would choose to say that he does not believe in anything.
Thirdly I really do not know what you call "facts" because even renowned scientists have been quick to agree that there are some events that happen which science does not have an explanation for.
Lastly, I really do not intend to upset you by my beliefs but really its something I can't help, I believe in God, I believe in his son, I believe in his spirit, I believe whatever he chooses to reveal and I can believe in all these because I am in the 21st century.

Thank you!

Achi4u, the question you are asking is unnecessary if you really claim to know God. How do you create an uncaused cause?

Hi, in as much as I agree with you that so many people have created their own God, I still believe firmly that there is a God. Simply looking at the designs of a well produced Japanese car would prompt you to think about the maker of such beauty or better still, seeing an object fly in the sky defiling the very law of gravity can't sieze to amaze so many. Or check out the wonders pose to us by our phones. Just dialing a number would get you connected with someone in seconds and in real time. All these are produced by man and are based on some specific law. The guiding principles to making such objects is not made by man. We only borrow from what has been. Now looking at those principles, do u honestly believe that such wonders came from the blues? I don't think so! The universe is too ordered for us to think that it's coming to being was a mere coincidence. If we trace the making of cars from our current time, we would arrive at the first car that was produced. In d same way there is a FIRST CAUSE! Someone who something who caused every other thing to be without it being caused. For our science fellows: take a "body" as an example. A "body" will continue to be in a state of rest until an external force acts on it to make it move. This is one fundamental principles in science. So too it is applicable to humans. There MUST be a first cause that caused all of us or simply put, a force that that set all this in motion. That FORCE is who we call God.

If you are, I'm not. It is so clear to me. If you believe in God, you must also believe in attributes of Him. He is eternal and infinite, so, you see the irrelevance of your question?

Reyginus: How do answer a question that shouldn't come up in the first place?

In other words, there is no answer, so the question should not come up? Is that how humans have progresses to where we are today? By tactfully avoiding questions whose answer are not readily available , or not palatable to our prejudices?

In other words, Mr Reyginus, you still nooooooooo answer to the question, so you decide, instead to attack the question.
Clever, or ............

@striktlymi, i'm very glad that u agreed with me that historically man have created Gods for himself. Reasön for yourself, which of the Gods can speak/act/reveal/relate with its creature (none). They are all man made, nobody was born with the knowledge of God

This is appaling. You are deliberately mis-firing. The op does not understand what it means to be God.
Just like holding that, plaeton is uncaused, and later go on to ask, what caused plaeton?

Good.
You know, God is the alpha. He was never created. The moment you begin to think that He was brought to existence, you deviate from what He stands for.
Achi4u, how do you create something that has always being?

Ofcourse you don't have to.
But to be acceptable, your explanation must follow a logical chain of thought.

Good evening,
I really am trying to get a grasp of what you mean in this post. Are you saying that there is no God or are you saying that you are yet to experience him?
