This is good! The major reason any law hardly works in Nigeria is because the enforcers also double as the major law breakers!
Pictures?

Yup! Saw their funny pick-up truck (Military Police) at anthony around 8am and i overtook it. By the time i got to palmgroove, there were lots of them near the BRT bus-stop, and one bike was on the culvert. I thought they were helping a colleague who's bike broke down (though it seemed strange that so many armed soldiers would be attending to a colleague) and in my mind i commended their spirit of camaraderie, not knowing they were on operation against their own.

Good development i guess, Fashola has finally gotten through to the COAS perhaps to enforce compliance among his boys?

Let's set our sights straight here. Is this new law for all bikes I.e commercial & private bikes or just for commercial ? There has to be some clarity here before innocent people will be arrested unjustly and those men in uniform just might be innocent.

Fasola's zeal in arresting motorbike riders both private and commercial is interesting. am waiting to see him also arrest his aides or commissioner and make same effort to ensure the thieving commissioner or aide is sent to prison for embezzlement . The law should not be made to be Hypocritical ..... So much effort is put into the lesser sin and none towards the more grievous sins.

Military Policemen are a set of people you dont want to mess with. Even Generals fear them. They have the power to arrest Generals.

They are known by their blood red caps

Respect in d army is based on rank and not the unit (military wing) and incase u don't know @ d rank of general u can switch to any unit. That's why d are general. Military police can only arest a soldier based on d order of a superior officer
