A crippled woman, Aisha Yunusa, who appeared before a Grade One Area Court, Lugbe, Abuja, accused by Hauwa Musa of attempting to kill her on Monday agreed to settle out of court.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the case first came up for hearing on Nov. 28.

Ms. Yunusa had alleged that her colleague, Musa who resides at Karmajiji village, Airport road, Abuja was dating her husband.

Mrs Musa, a widow also prayed the court to compel the defendant to desist from carrying out her threat as well as pay her the sum of N200,000 as damages for defaming her and her daughter.

Mrs Musa said that the defendant on Nov. 21, came to her house, armed with a knife and cutlass, accused both her and her daughter of having an affair with Yunusa’s husband.
