I bought from the African store just once after I moved to my current city. Planned buying a full goat maybe some time in January.

As for Christmas, I am attempting Quail. I know it is delicate as it can dry out very fast since it doesn't have fat but I think it should be worth the experiment.
That's an exotic bird. The eggs are small.

Used to be for me when I buy from african stores. Until I discovered Mexican store and it’s so much better

The one I saw at the Mexican store wasn’t roasted and it was skinned.
The Philippines store too. I heard they used to roast until they reported them grin of animal cruelty.
People were complaining the smell of roasting goat was disturbing and disgusting them grin grin

Full goat - great meat for melon soup and stew.
Haven't tried quail meat. But the egg is good.
Merry Christmas!

I come on here most times just to get a meal I could dream about at night.. salivate on that particular food until sleep knocks me off my feet

currently with the security personal.. funny how hunger can snatch sleep from you ..

I had a terrible Xmas but I am grateful to nature that blessed me with good health..

had couple of thoughts to unfollow this thread base on intimidation things.. but then again I would be deceiving myself.. we all need hope that the future would be Better..

please show some love ..

This thread use to be my favourite until trenches got the best of me. Folks posting what a dude be dreaming about.

I pray for y'all that have, y'all won't ever want. The hope this thread gives me is that there is hope . Y'all showcasing meals won't lack. Amen

I won't envy but rather I would be inspired to attain that wish I lack..

Got to a point I come on here at night, so I could have a dream about the meal I would have in my sleep. Imagine fantasising on a meal before you go to bed only to sleep and wake up with toothpick for your mouth cheesy

Seems one of my best Christmas. Had friends over and it was fun assisting with the cooking. The only work that was all mine from scratch to the end was the cinnamon roll with the cream cheese frosting. Thanks Akposy for the recipe.

We made quails and chicken for protein, two types of friend rice. The difference in the rice is that one has bacon and the other did not.

Goat meat expensive shocked.

I need goat meat stock to make real jollof.
Learned from my mom and her meeting friends that the best jollof is made with goat meat stock ( if you can't find real chicken stock) Not 4 months old chicken stock cheesy

Gboyega, cococand, Descara.do and all - goat meat expensive at your side ?

Bint and Akposy, how much for akuya in the north?
Mariangeles cheaper as your side?
Ahn.ie, any plans to source in the deep village for fowl or goat ?
I don’t know the price. I don’t even eat it cos it is damn expensive
