Can applications be installed offline? I.e when downloaded as apk extension how do you install?

Ark_angel: thanks to this thread, it helps me decide on buying the n3, previously had a g1 but mehn that phone was troublesome. anyway wont deter my admiration for android, nice os. I root my n3 with poot, though it was after several attempts but glad I now have super access, I attached a pics below, that's my ram, I want to know if it is the 512 version or not, I had 512 + 512 on the case though but both internal memory and ram is not up to that. I have only root my android and would like to know some other cool stuff I can do with the root, I'm not too savvy with the rom flash, recovery thing but I will like to learn step by step, respect to the hardworking gurus ... much love.

Well to know if your phone is the 512 ram vrtsion just hold dow.n d menu and select manage running apps and add up in use and free memory. If it is 300+ it def is d 512 version. The internal mem is a portion of d 512 rom i.e 175 in my own

just use ur file manager to navigate to d location you saved it and simply click on it.

i downloaded pes2012 from android.mob.org.......both d apk file n d zip file...av extracted d zip, installed d game and copied d extracted file 2where its pose 2b on d sd card,stil d game won't work...,ani ideas on wat i shud do next

copy 'com.konami.pes2012' folder to /sdcard/Android/obb/

Azeola: Is tecno N7 really out

Shops in Ibadan (mokola roundabout) were given samples of N7 yesterday but I was told it is not yet available for sale. I confirmed this from one of the shops today

after searching for almost 2hours today i couldnt get the n7, am not sure its officially out. Am getting my n3 tomorrow the n7 specs isnt worth the price.

i won't advice u sell ur e5.. If u hv any othe means of getin 13k, do so. I'm using both fones (i.e e5 nd n3). both fones hav vairous advantages.

drag baba! check d dpecks of both phones and compare. It definately install apps on d mmc but just like any other device some must still go to d phone memory.

keep tryin and dload both superuser and root checker and try to install dem after those deamon materialise errors cuz your phone may already b rooted.

Install the POOT app into internal/phone memory. Ministro and root checker into the external memory/mmc.
Persistance and patience are the keys to rooting.

Phone fixed now
buh yall need to see how my looks so bad, my ram is now 116, 2 screws missing from my phone, dirrt in my screen i can't wipe it unless i open the case

My n3 keeps switching off and it will now switch on until I remove the battery and replace it back. Will doing a factory reset solve the problem or it is a factory fault issue?

so early for a new phone to devp such fault.. Talkin frm my little experience,it's caused by fluid or water entering into d phone panel.. Return to techno store sharply
