DIAMOND BANK to offer 3 for 5 rights issue July 24 (Lagos) - Diamond Bank Plc ( DIAMONDBNK ) will issue 8.68 billion units to raise N 50.4 billion in new capital. The rights issue will offer existing shareholders as of June 13 2014 to buy 3 units for every 5 units currently held at the price of N 5.80 per unit. DIAMONDBNK already has 14.47 billion shares outstanding to that number will jump to 23.15 billion units which means the bank will have to earn a lot more to maintain a similar earnings per share number for the year and beyond. Shares of DIAMONDBNK were trading at N 6.72 per unit this morning before trading was halting due to some glitch in the system so it is not clear at what price the stock closed the day. Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by passwelle: 10:28pm On Jul 24, 2014 |
Can executed trades be reversed? I carried out my last trade at 11 am today and as at that time executed trades which caught my eye included GTB (with 145m units) and Oando (165k units). The NSE website then goes down sometime after that, when exactly I am not sure. However, when it gets restored the volumes dont reflect the supposedly executed trades (at least for those two) which I was able to document using itrade. The NSE website presently has GTB at 53,754 units today and Oando at 23,323 units. Is the NSE the more you look the less you see? Could the "technical problem" have been influenced by humans 1 Like

I sold my units to use the pproceeds to buy the rights but I don already but am for oando as diamond was wasting time. Also will the buyer of the right partake in 2014 div? |
