HP DV6 machine is actually a perfect run Ubuntu. I installed Ubuntu9.10, 64 bits, it is the perfect operation from the installation. In fact, all the normal out of the box, or even "touch-slider" volume control panel.

In summary suggests, this laptop runs very hot. I was not expecting this at all, why should it be a low-CPU performance. Even just a simple Internet browsing, this means that the fan sits on her knees and starts to become uncomfortable heat, forget to watch movies or play games. The control board, at least for me, is very ignorant when it comes to scrolling down a web site. Two-finger swipe is made at least twice before deciding to run, while allowing the right side of the touchpad for scrolling works better, but not much.
