I agree and this is why

1. The midfield isn't as strong as previous years and this is where most battles are won. If man u don't buy a solid DM in january it will affect them.

2. Defence. With vidic slowly returning back and an aging ferdinand man u are shipping more goals than city, their closest rivals. While man u have conceded 24 goals, city have conceded only 15.remember man u conceded 33 last year and D̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ are 9 short of that already ! Stoke however have the best overall defence. Their defence is why the CL trophy won't be coming to old trafford this year

3. Goal keeper. Both keepers are shaky at set pieces and have let in soft goals this year. None are anywhere near van der saar's class. Expect more goals conceded through sloppiness.
