Secondly, what concrete evidence do u hav dat Jonathan is a thief(pls do nt give me useles theories u made up. Then tell me how/why Adeboye should start condemning the commander in chief in front of a large congregation. SO OUR PRESIDENT HAS REPENTED? maybe there will be change soon in Nigeria. If he truelly repented...! Op, so you expected the Pastor to hit the nail on the head at the right time but he didn´t.  Well. God is not a respecter of any man, so does His word/commands. A good oppotunity to preach against crime and stealing state money. this could have helped change minds of some of these thieves. As this happens to be the bigest illness of Nigeria. at least, he must have been informed of the President coming na. But how do you know who will make heaven or not? |

Oh you mean that Pastor Adeboye will not make it down the corridor of heaven? Will he be stopped on the way by a security man or will they simply lock the gate on his face? Why don't you even apply to be awarded the security contract in heaven, that way you can easily stop Pastor Adeboye when he is heading into heaven. What a judge we 've got here. |

@OP It is not our place to judge who makes it to heaven or not. It is left to God to decide that. But i can see where you are coming from. I mean as nigerians we judge people everyday. From the girl who walks down the street in a miniskirt to the guy who smokes weed behind an abandoned building. No one will criticise me when i say they might be going to hell. So my problem is, what has changed when someone openly points out a flaw about a pastor that makes it not okay to say those things? Are these pastors not human beings like the rest of us? Now Nathan who was a prophet sent by God to deliver a message of such magnitude could have just approached him and said you wicked murderer and adulterous creature...why did you kill uriah...? But did he do that...no he didn't. Verse 1 of 2samuel 12 tells us of the parable Nathan told david. Note the polite manner he used in approaching him.. You can't expect pastor Adeboye to begin to rain courses on Jonathan...God wouldn't be pleased. He must display politeness, humility and wisdom in whatever approach he decides to adopt for sending the message to the president...that's how christians should act. 1 Like |

@OP are you suggesting Pastor Adeboye should discuss such on air? i am not saying they had a private chat but you dont expect him to start saying such on air its disrespectful (give Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God). As the president, he earn that respect. |

I do not know whether GO Adeboye would make heaven or not, but what i know is that the holy ghost congress is not about making heaven but more about showing influence and power. Year in year out, the president, governors and other high powered politicians are invited to grace the occasion. The politicians realizing the sheer number of people in attendance turn it into a political campaign ground. By Jonathan's campaign speech at the redemption camp, you will agree that the campaign for the 2015 elections was flagged off. But no body has cared to ask why presidents always go to the redemption camp to make political speeches. Is Jonathan now a born again Christian? Has he giving his life to Christ? Which bible believing church does he attend and does he pay his tithes. OBJ was also a regular visitor to the camp (although OBJ would never kneel or bow to any one), was OBJ also born again and why has OBJ not attended holy ghost congress since leaving office? 2 Likes |

The pastors and political leaders visit themselves on regular basis. Cardinal Okogie is a regular guest at aso rock ,i even heard one senator gave pastor Oyedepo a private jet as a birthday gift and the slowpoke accepted it. They're all rogues. Sometimes i don't blame people for saying religion is not worth our trust. Buh the truth is that all these are bible prophesies coming true. |
