America could be sympathetic sometimes. Not many nations would even think of doing it, to make matters worse he's a Nigerian.

This is not good, they would have done it administratively through the court system.

The US congress cannot pass a law that is applicable to just one individual. The Schiavo's feeding tube bill/law under Bush came readily to mind.

If the law or bill is challenged, it will be thrown away, even if Obama signs it. The courts and States Department have enough leeway to grant him a stay.

REALITY101: I feel for his health issue but if we start letting people with one health issues or another to stay in this county for the heck of it, this country will be over populated with. . . . . . .

And oh don't worry about it cuz our food stamp president is going to sign it.

See your mouth! Spitting out sh*t. Who are you? What have you achieved with your life? You see a guy with a terrible sickness that is trying to study and make the best out of his life, yet you talk like a person of very low
IQ.

Don't be deceived by the fact you may be in America because truth be told, your life isn't ideal, you are a nobody and you know it.

that guy is or will definitely be better than you in all aspects.

Oh please! give me a break, a skill other Americans doesn't have? This is a decision made on humanitarian ground and not because America needs his skills badly.

PREZ. Obama will do it.
If he can reinstate the stay of over 1,000 Liberian refugees who were scheduled for deportation following Bush's reign, he will help this brother out who actually plans on making good of his stay. smiley

I hope he gets the best treatment for his deformity/disabilities and may he succeed in completing every one of his goals!

I bet you are a Nigerian migrant, yet you reason like this! If the Americans are'nt complaining, then why are you crying more than the bereaved? Please dont be selfish, it could have been you.

What a touching and Inspiring story. Born to wretched parents who later abandoned him. Had genetic disorder that deformed him. Passed through 11 surgeries, one of which claimed his right eye. Against all these odds, he was not dettered and succeeded in earning a good bsc honours degree in Biochemistry, not done yet, he still wants to study medicine but only for his papers to expire. Now his dreams is about to be realised, due to his determination against all odds and courtesy of the American support system. To Chukwueke, you are already a source of inspiration to your generation and those unborn. May God continue to bless America and salvage Nigeria from this sorry state, Chukwueke would probably have been a destitute, if he had remained in Nigeria.
