Am still trying to phantom it, I've asked myself this question about a billion times but I still can't find a suitable answer.

For me I still like the Anime because its amongst my favourite, I even prefer it to the famed Naruto.

Too much filler. And it was boring filler that made you forget the original story line. The filler is so bad that the animation company has put the show on hiatus until Tite Kubo figures out when he wants wrap things up.
