@all like how many layers do u guyz double your vocals...and (2) how often do u use parallel compression on your drums

like two layers is more than enough.. cox backups or main-overs will still be fitted in...

for parallels, i personally dont use it on my drums, execpt when im making a dirty south beat banger... i tend to also use it on my snare rolls as well... so it all depends on individual preferences..

tankz for the vocal layering tip...and abt d parallel comp on drums,i feel lyk it does more harm(sound to squached) dan good when added to drums buss(i mean drums as a group) thats y i askd in d firstplace..or is there a way to prevent that too squached sound?

Talkng bout superstar producers; Chops, Outkast, Will Smith, Chris Styles (producer for G_unit
), will.I.am all use Reason... Scott Storch also used Reason before he switched... I basically love FL Studio which is my primary DAW, but Reason gave me something different in sound when I use it, the bass and drum re basically so clear and fresh I could eat them raw, lol

I love making RnB and the Seventeen classes of HipHop Instrumentals but signed to a label means I have to produce manners of instrumentals if not all of em...

Re: Thread For Music Producers by achu442(m): 1:28pm On Nov 18, 2013
The problem many producers have with FL Studio is mixing of beats..Please always remove ur limiter b4 u start up ur beat.Pan most of ur kits..Make use of the auto stero imager on the master channel(it makes ur beat surround).Send ur kits to a bus reverb with a little compression. Then add flanger and a phaser to ur stringed instrument..Then export at 350kps...by Zibit Da Replay(Producer,Audio masterminder and Songwriter)
