TODAY IS CHRISTMAS

Christ was born on Christmas day,
We sing and pray;
Children show off their new heels,
And mothers make delicious meals;
Today is Christmas!

‘I hate Christmas!’ said a fowl with a wounded eye—
Today, some of my brothers will die,
Never hesitate, escape or even try
Just flap your wings, squeak and cry;
Today is Christmas!’
