^^^ That pastor was only being heretic. Christ was not born in ‘gregorian calendar new year‘. New year celebration is meant to be for everybody,be it xtian,muslim,atheist,buddhist etc. But we all know that religious ppl attach importance to things more than the irreligious ones due to superstitious nature of most religion. Finally,xtians are more likely to celebrate new year of gregorian calendar than muslims since Islam has another calendar called hijrah(not sure of d name) which starts on a date entirely different from the regular one.
