This has always been my argument for some time now. I feel that should the La Liga and the p-remiership me merged, the top two on the table will definitely be Madrid and Barca while the likes of Sevilla, Valencia will be fighting for third and fourth place with the EPL top 4.

I think if Messi finds himself in Barca with an array of good players like in Barca, he will score even mr=ore goals because players in the EPL act before thinking. In the EPL it's about physical play as opposed to brain work. It's only in the EPL that an average player can be celebrated. Just imagine someone like Ayegbeni going to the EPL. He'll look so mediocre. We can all remember how Michael Owen who was one of the best players in the EPL went to Madrid and wormed the bench almost throughout.
