Pls how can i get symbian applications for nokia 5700 cos i hav try all possible formats but i will say not supported pls someone help me out i need symbian applications.

Join head with naijafan, both of ya use the same shit (V9.2) and whenever your googling, always include 9.2 otherwise: your phone will keep saying installation not supported (applies to .sis only)

I dey allen avenue. Use a Nokia N82 and get applications off official sites like s60.com and the likes. To me, the only commercial softwares out there which i consider worth cracking are Handy Taskman, Opera Mobile, and Profimail. There are lots of free applications out there even by Nokia that can help extend your default phone's capability.

An example is an application called 'conversation'. It basically extends your contacts application to show how many messages you've exchaged with each contact and ability to veiw them in an Instant Messaging style. In the instant messaging view, all messages exchanged with a particular contact are arranged into a chat form. Its cool. . . especially if you are the type that does a lot of SMS chat with your girlfriend And its free, by Nokia.

There are tons of other applications like that. You are always welcome, ok ?

you have to install the SMS zipper on both phones. The way it works, SMS ZIpper on my phone compresses a 200 character message into 160 or less and sends it across the network. SMS ZIpper on ur phone decompresses the message and expands it into the original 200 character message.

about the double charge, i dont knw abt that. i wasnt double charged when i tried it.

i guess their compression algorithm uses RLE (run lenght encoding). THis means that multiple characters of giberrish will result in a larger compressed version. For instance, i just typed 67 characters of nonsense but the compressed version is 106 characters . hope you get the point. That's why i said i wouldnt mind being in another team that would like to 'extend SMS'. I believe our proposed method (which never got off the ground) is a more reliable one as it provides a fixed max character limit because even at its basic level, one character is gained for every 7 characters typed.
