I am reading a new book on Catholic prophecy called Unveiling the Apocalypse by Emmett O'Regan which argues that the letters WWW is transliterated into Hebrew as six-six- six. The basic gist of the author's arguement is that the writer of the Book of Revelation used a Hebrew form of numerology known as [url=en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gematria]gematria[/url] in the passage of the Apocalypse concerning the number of the Beast. The sixth letter of the [url=en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_alphabet]Hebrew alphabet[/url] is the letter waw , which in [url=en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hebrew_numerals]Hebrew numerals[/url] is used to represent the number 6. I was wondering what anyone else's thoughts are on this? |

Good morning Mr. Eze, What you got there is quite interesting and may be a good read for anyone who believes in speculations. I wasn't quite comfortable when you called the book "Catholic". One would be tempted to think that the book holds the official thoughts of the Catholic church on the matter. In as much as I believe in individual freedom, I am also of the view that some words should be well directed in order for people not to misrepresent them. The book is from an individual who might be Catholic and not that the book is "Catholic". Thank you! |
