I sat down for the 2011 federal scholarship board aptitude test in March 2011. After 7 months, I was notified that I have been awarded the scholarship (the only person awarded in my school).
I took necessary steps to retrieve the award, but unfortunately after many months, the funds was not transferred to my account.
I even called the board and was given unnecessary excuse that it was my fault and that I have forfeited the award (despite the fact that I took all the necessary steps).
As a result of these, I was hopeless as regard the scholarship. I was totally astounded when I received an alert from my bank that my account has been credited with the scholarship funds (nearly two years after being awarded the scholarship).
What kept, bothering me is that after almost 2years of being awarded the scholarship which I was awarded almost the same time with MTN foundation Scholarship (which I am preparing to collect for the third time). What delayed the funds? How can this fund be useful for undergraduate studies when I am through with school already? I sat for the exam when I was in 200level, and the first payment was paid two months after I graduated. That is the question that kept wondering me.

Hmmm, abeg send my own share cos me need am. Am still a student!!:-(
