I believe the dot marks are embedded into the bread baking pan used. |

I believe the marks are from the baking pan...I may be wrong though, but its definitely got to do with the utensils they used in baking it. |

It's from the baking pan. It's always @ the point where two or more baking pans are joined together. Its very common with the smaller sizes.you hardly find it in the bigger size. |
