The 29-year-old forward scored five goals in six games as his team built up a seven-point lead over title rivals Manchester City during the busy festive schedule.The Dutchman scored five times in six games for the Red Devils in a prolific month that saw his team go seven points clear of title rivals Manchester City during the busy festive schedule. And Van Persie, who currently leads the top scorers chart with 16 goals, revealed his delight at receiving the prize from the Premier League sponsors Barclays. Van Persie joined United from Arsenal in a deal worth £24 million this summer and has since made 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring 20 goals. to be realistic he (van persie ) doesnt deserve this award.. The 16goals he scored so far included penalty whereas luiz suarez 15 goals so far exclude penalty.. In terms of assist of goals suarez has created more assist than any other player in d epl so far.. Also suarez in terms of independent surpass that of r.v.p.. What is good in attack, dribble , fight for goals,created for chances and score goals without anybody to assist him..whereas rvp is a dependent player.. |
