2012 New Hyndai Elantra is good it will save you a lot of money at the filling station and you don't have to worry about maintenances for a while and you will also get warranty on the car if you buy it and maybe free servicing on your first 10,000km depending on your negotiation skill while Tokunbo 2005 Toyota Avalon on the other hand, you can't be sure about. You don't know if its an accident or a savaged vehicle you are buying. You can tell the real condition of the engine unless you scan it and so on and its got a very big engine that will cost you a lot to service if you don't have a dip pocket. So bro go for the Hyndai Elantra its brand new and you will enjoy it. @nagreenmotoring #nagreenmotoring |

Nixo: How can you compare a new car with a used one Are you a LEARNER? Everything's comparable. It all depends if 2012 licence plate impresses you, regardless of the automobile it's attached to. Or if build quality comes first. I would pick a 2007 Audi over a 2013 Hyundai / Kia everytime. |

If the 2007 Audi is brand new i would agree with you but if you are buying a secondhand 07 audi i don't agree with you at all because the interior begins to fall off after a while that's why i would chose a Hyundai/kia 2013 over a secondhand Audi @nagreenmotoring #nagreenmotoring |

It actually all depends on your need for a car at that juncture: 1. Are you looking for an "everyday knockabout car" ? If yes, Elantra. 2. Are you very concerned about ease of maintenance? If yes, Elantra.. 3. Are you concerned about fuel economy? if yes, don't think twice...even once...go for the elantra. 4. Are you very concerned about luxurious Drive-feel? if yes, Jump on the Avalon. 5. Are you particular on fast cars? If yes, the Avalon is your choice. 6. Do you want a car that will look like an official car to people around you so they don't feel that "money don come": if yes, go for the Elantra. 7. Are you particular about looking like "The MAN" in your car? If yes, go for the Avalon. ..the choice is yours www.facebook.com/ViperAutos 3 Likes |

You're confusing yourself. I'm sure my post was quite clear - I said 2007 Audi versus 2013 Kia. So how could a 2007 car be brand new? As for interior falling apart "after a while", as you put it, show me an interior in a 2011 Kia, and I'll show you the interior of a 2003 Audi. The build quality is not comparable. I've worked for Audi, as well as Kia-Hyundai, and I know what bugs Kia / Hyundai owners had with interior creaks and rattles, some car had delivery mileage. Broken door trim, interior handles, lifting vinyl trim on the dash, rattle glove box lids etc are the order of the day with Kia and Hyundai. As I posted previously, if the thought of a 2013 licence plate stirs your soul, then you'd pick the Hyundai. If build quality and a premium brand are most important, then the 2005 Avalon would be the obvious choice. 1 Like |

Siena: If you had worked in the automobile industry then you should know that you can still purchase a brand new 2007 audi if you know where to look for it but from the way you replied me it seem you don't have that knowledge. Anyway about the Hyundai/Kia i was talking about the brand new not the second hand and it takes up to five year for it to start falling apart. Am an Automobile Journalist and i know for a fact that its only few vehicles that don't fall apart after a long time of use. |

Dude, I've been in the automotive for more years than you think, and worked within the VAG dealer network for 18 years. I'm also aware some cars can be registered late. The Audi A4 2007 will be a B7 platform. It's a mainstream model, so not likely to remain unsold for 6 years. The last Audi A4 B7 bodyshell was sold in October 2009, and is no longer available, not as a shell or complete car. We both know you were not referring to a late registered older model. You made a mistake with that comment, but are just too proud to admit that fact. You can't purchase a brand new Audi A4 B7, regardless of where you look. The last B7 was completed in October 2008, and registered in April 2009, a Dolphin Grey 2,0 TDI S-Line. There are no more left unregistered. If you're talking about knowledge, then I'm afraid you're blowing in the wind. You claim to be an Automobile Journalist, and you want to pit your knowledge of the automobile against mine? I'm a fully qualified Automobile Engineer. I deal in fact, Journalists deal in opinion. Fact and opinion are very different. Some interiors can get rough over a short time agreed, but this is mostly in the lower, non-premium brands. The interior of a 2008 BMW E87 will be tight long after the same in a Kia or Hyundai has rattled its last bolt free. I run a garage, and have an added advantage of seeing what goes through my doors. I've also worked for Westdrive Kia, which is a Hyundai-Kia dealership. 2 Likes |

If you are cheap and your life is very very boring, go for the Hyundai no one will even notice you to pity your choice, but if you feel like living and not merely existing, you want to raise the right eyebrows, beat up a whole bunch of [i]cats[/i ] jumping in you car without need for Viagra Avalon is your car; top of the line vs bottom of the brand guess where you'll stay if you pick the wrong on. This is not something you should have to think about living, or existing because of 4mpg |
