       A Bulgarian politician today survived an extraordinary assassination attempt when a man stormed the stage and held a gun to his head as he was giving a speech. Fortunately for Ahmed Dogan, leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, the weapon misfired giving him time to react and hit the would-be assassins hand out of the way. Before he can attempt a second shot the unidentified suspect is tackled to the ground by security guards and delegates attending the conference in Sofia. Television footage showed the man jumping out of the audience and interrupting a speech by 58-year-old Dogan, who has led the party for almost a quarter of a century. In a split second, he raises the gun to Mr Dogan's head but it appeared to misfire. The politician then knocked the gun away and fell to the floor as he attempted to flee. What a lucky man he is...... Mr. Dogan should thank his God.... BTW.... Just thinking...... Why would an assassin's weapon just misfire @ such a crucial time!?..... He could have easily taken down that politician with a Knife or something.......and he wasn't wearing a mask or something...... How did he get past the security!!?? Dude had enough time to smoke the politician up but i guess he just didn't have the balls to pull the trigger or he just wanted to make a mockery of the security or maybe get locked up somewhere! |

Whoever's behind this is sending a strong message to this man. If he had pulled that trigger, he would have fatally wounded (if not kill) the politician. Really Weird. I hope we won't be seeing this in Nigeria come 2015. |
