South Africa are set to ring the changes for the game against Angola as the Africa Cup of Nations hosts look to kick-start their tournament.

Bafana Bafana could only manage a goalless draw in their opening game against Cape Verde on Saturday.

Consequently, striker Katlego Mphela, returning from a long-term injury, could come in for Lehlohonolo Majoro.

Midfielders Kagisho Dikgacoi and Lerato Chabangu are injured, meaning Oldham's Dean Furman is likely to return.

Angola, meanwhile, will be reliant on the goalscoring prowess of former Manchester United forward Manucho.

The Real Valladolid striker has scored an impressive 21 goals in 38 international appearances, meaning he will be the dangerman for Angola.

Coach Luccio Antunes has a full squad to choose from, with no injuries reported from the goalless draw with Morocco.

Angola are looking to record a first-ever win over South Africa in the tournament.

Gordon Igesund, South Africa coach:

"There is a lot of talk about the 1996 [when South Africa won the tournament] team - it is right in our face all the time.

"Our players want to emulate that team, the nation wants the current players to emulate that team, and the stars who won the title 17 years ago want my team to succeed."

Manucho, Angola striker:

"Our performance against Morocco was satisfactory.

"I came close a few times and it is encouraging that we created chances."
