Kogi State Government Banned Female Teachers From Wearing Trousers To School by sestob(m): 9:30pm On Jan 25, 2013
Kogi State has banned female teachers in the primary &
secondary schools from wearing trousers to school hours.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Grace
Elebiyo during a press interview on Wednesday warned that
any female teacher caught violating the order will face the
disciplinary action taken out against them by the Kogi State
Government.
Mrs. Grace Elebiyo said that this new order came to reality,
after some female primary & secondary school teachers in
Kogi state were caught violating their professional code of
dressing.
She asserted that Kogi State Ministry of Education would no
longer tolerate indecent dressing to schools.
The commissioner added that government would soon
commence on the rehabilitation and upgrading of facilities in
primary and secondary schools in the state.
