COMPANY PROFILE:

Our client, one of the foremost firms in the professional practice in real estate development and management, quantity survey and managing the lifecycle of projects from inception to completion seeks to recruit a young dynamic graduate for the position of Graduate Entry level (Executive Management Office) to support the Managing Director/CEO at their LAGOS Office;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The responsibilities of the successful graduate include, but not limited to the following tasks:

Coordinate the affairs of the executive management office in the absence of the MD/CEO.

Act as the chief coordinator for any strategic annual meetings held with the Board of Directors or any plan of work as directed by the Managing Director.

Draft contract and contract related documents.

Plan and coordinates arrangements for professional conferences

Build and maintain a close relationship with relevant government bodies and lobby groups

Perform public relations duties and public speaking related to the firm’s interests.

Consulting for clients and members on behalf of the firm in areas such as costing for installations, materials and workmanship coupled with well-planned quotations beneficial to all stakeholders.

Carrying out valuations and writing adequate reports of different projects on behalf of the firm.

Quarterly market survey and update of the database to keep abreast of current prices of materials and labour

Liaising where necessary with Project managers, sub-contractors and other parties involved with designated projects

Act as an assistant to the Managing Director

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Qualifications

Second Class (Upper Division) 2.1 in Civil Engineering, Building or Quantity Survey, from a reputable university

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

Excellent oral and written communication skills

High level planning and organizational skills.

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks.

Ability to prepare contracts for projects and also show good understanding of contract specifications if presented by a client.

Solid presentation skills

Ability to communicate at all levels

0-1 year experience (Must have completed NYSC)

Ability to learn fast

A self-starter with a level of initiative

Ability to demonstrate sound work ethics



Remuneration

Salary N1.5m to N2.0m p.a plus other benefits
