I am having problems with my blog. www.francisokaformbah.com.

I transferred it from another host to another and it's not working properly. All the files and plufgins are intact when i go through my cpanel but they are not shoing from the wordpress dashboard.

and its supposed to be a 3 column theme but the themes are not working. I reverted back to a defultault theme pls help.

Ok bro, what I can see from what you explained is this;

1. Its likely you didn't upload/transfer the themes/plugin/upload folders in there correct directories
2. Maybe you haven't pointed your site to the correct database url after transfer

Check these and lets know if it helped

Did you export the DB properly?
Did you update your wp-config.php file after migration?

Check your wp-content/themes folder to make sure the theme is intact.

though am on WordPress, but my question is not really a WordPress question. About two weeks ago, i did some funny things in my cpanel and eventually got my blog deleted without backup in place.what i need now are my blog content, i have tried my host but no way out. anyone with means to how i can retrieve my content?

Your wordpress contents are stored in your database. To retrieve it,you need to log in to your phpmyadmin from your cpanel and download the database which can be in turn exported to a new database of your worrdpress installation.

Good move, but dont just jump into it, have a purpose and keep reminding yourself of the purpose everytime.
