Pope Benedict XVI says he would resign on feb 28, CNN announces this morning. The pope is saying for no known reasons as to why he is resigning. The reporters saying "he is resigning in full freedom". He is the oldest Pope the catholics have had in history of papacy. The question begging for answers now is, will Nigeria and perphaps Africans have the prospects of having the new pope among themselves? The new pope would not be choosen until an election is done within the vatican. His resignation is not attributed to any illness or incapacitation. Ur comments guys...
