hello my fellow naija bobos and geges,
abeg i want person wey go help me solve this problem i hosted a web which is giving me wahala.
check it out www.nubbystylesintl.com.ng this web i hosted it but it is displaying a different thing alltogether which is not what i want to display in my site i dont know if it is because i have not designed the web or if there is another problem which i have to solve please make sombody help me i will really appreciate.note this is a free nigerian domain it is applicable to all nigerians you can host it for free there is .com.ng,.org,.edu,and so many others please somebody help me

do you have an index(.html, .htm, .php or whatever extension you are using) file? That might be the problem. What I see now is the standard placeholder that shows up once a url is registered.

Try the above and get back to us.

u need to create one cool

Open notepad (or your favorite text editor/WYSIWYG), create a file, put any text in it for starters, save it as index.php (assuming your host supports php) and c if that shows up.

Or, the domain name has not fully propagated through the internet. 4 - 72hrs is usually allowed.

A default under construction page belonging to the hosting company is expected if the domain name is actually resolving to the server that is housing the website.

Delete these files from your server if you have access to ftp or directory listing

index.html
search.php
dontclickme.php

Delete this directory

static/
--------------

the files contains parts of webfile.com, search fields and content
static/ contains images from webfile.com

your index.html contains content reference from search results from webfile.com

Are you using bulkurl.com to register your domain?

Hello,
Maybe u need to make sure that the domain is properly pointing to the host server (dns and that kind of stuff).
Theres' something u need to understand about Nigerian domains. They insist that you hook it up to the host even before they approve the domain. Hence, u'll have to use the exact host DNS u supplied while registering for the domain name. I have one I got from them too - http://webhosting.com.ng and its working,
Try hooking urs up correctly and lets see what happens,

Are you using bulkurl.com to register your domain?

That is above your solution. I looked at the code in each file and it is all code for webfile.com. Delete those files if you have access to directory listing or ftp access.
