A woman in Georgia, United States, Tuesday went to the police, along with her mother, to report that her ex-husband had cast a spell on her and her home, reports The Smoking Gun. Mychia Vang and her mother, Pang Khang, told the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office that Vang’s former spouse Bruce Lor had placed her and her Winder, Georgia residence “under a spell or spells.” Mr Lor, Vang’s 28-year-old former spouse, was said to have accomplished this with the assistance of his mother.

Vang and Khang told Sheriff Deputy D. Boyd that they believed they were under a spell because Lor was able to know whatever they did and wherever they went. They were also certain that Lor’s spell caused Vang’s recent illness. After listening to the duo Boyd told them a report would be made documenting the incident—there wasn’t much else the officer could do.
