This is a mere Sensationalism. Erotic pictures sells movies. Don't be surprised to see nothing remotely nude in the movie itself. Wouldn't be the first time.

the reasoning of the average nigerian is backwards
what's wrong with the poster? that's a studio shot! all the girls must have gone to the studio to take these shots. you can bet they are all wearing shorts and a strapless bra under those towels. the panties are just make-believe. it's a poster not a shot taken without the consent of the ladies and they are being paid for this!

chei - how did some people graduate from their college?

Abeg, help me tell them ooo...

Many of us sit there and type there is nothing wrong with this poster when we all know in its entirety that everything is wrong with this poster. Imagine a country where we still paste posters as our means of advert. Do you even consider the number of kids that will view this posters? Do you consider the physical and psychological effect this poster will have on them? Seeing a woman's panties is also equivalent to seeing her arse, that's why a decent woman is very careful to make sure you don't see her panties. We claim 21st century but believe you me that an american film cannot post this poster publicly and that is why in nude films you are meant to sign an undertaken that you are 18years before you view the content. But here in nigeria who send you. You don't expect me to close my eyes and walk on the street cos a woman is bathing naked outside. All we can do is rebuke her. If you guys like call me uncivilised. But i bet you the impact of this films are more than we can fathom. Look around you, teenage pregnancy everywhere and this is in exception of those that abort theirs and yet we encourage promiscuity with our films and songs. Anyway more okro to their elbow

look at the poster very well,

•it has certified 18 on it
•looking at panties is not the same as seeing her butt!
•you see these panties in yaba market on a regular
•nigerian women wear low rise jeans exposing undies
•this poster did not spark teenage pregnancy in nigeria, it has been happening before the inception of home videos
•after all said and done, you would still queue to buy the movie
•nigerians are hypocrites!

What is it with us and morality? Why oh why do we have this holier than thou attitude? The thing tire me sef. Soon some idiiot will start to preach about how this is not African tradition.

we have a culture of passing the blame. a country where anything goes and all of a sudden everyone is claiming to be holy because of a poster i wouldn't even notice if i was driving in lagos. see people condemning the poster. in the next 3 months, this movie would break the box office.

the producers are not stüpid - subtle or subliminal messages fly over the heads of the majority of the nigerian audience so they have to make it vivid to pass the message across. this is why blood must run down legs of women in nollywood to depict a miscarriage and every little accident must have the patient's head heavily bandaged with an intravenous stand standing close.

This is so true! I hate that. They over-explain everything. They have to make everything explicit. We are not that dumb.

only few of us aren't - majority are!

there was this movie back then - the pröstitute by omotola....
in the movie was a sex scene and the producers used a double. they had this couple having sëx in the movie. would you believe nigerians took to the streets and started attacking omotola that she let them down? omotola had to grant an exclusive interview to explain the babe in that particular scene wasn't her.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion abi? Those who think it's bad should be left alone with their thoughts while those who see no big deal about it can be as liberal as they want. The world is 'big' enough for us all. As for the poster, the gals look very doable(woe betide whoever accuses me of objectification) but them panties are a no no for me. The pose and just the towels woulda done it but the panties ruined it.

Most of these Nollywood movies are like soft porn! Guide your family, especially your children against it! The rate at which Nigeria girls display how promiscuous they her shows know boundaries anymore!! They are everywhere!! Twitter, Badoo, Nollywood, churches...All they know is sex, money and fame!! My Naija brothers, the moment you marry the wrong woman, just know you're in for it!! God won't be with you. Devil don enter your home be that ooo!!

after one week of release, the movie will sell 1m copies, who bought dem? Ghosts? I wont be wrong to assume you are amongst that statistics,

wonder how you saw the poster if you didnt go to purchase it, pervasive hypocrite

Not that am trying to defend anybody but what if you are extremely wrong by classifying this dude as a hypocrite and that you just made a complete fool of yourself by blindly assuming that he purchased a copy.
In this internet age that we are, I wouldn't be wrong to say there's a 90% chance he probably saw the poster online somwhere and decided to share his opinion on it.. (how's that for statistics) and at the end of the day you're just a disgruntled fella looking to vent off some steam at an innocent folk.

Whether you like it or not there will always be indecency and whores out there.. irrespective of sex.
Doesn't portray the general population's attributes.
Just do your own part and keep your moral standards high.

A man to himself alone is honest, but hypocrisy sets in at the introduction of another man. so be careful how you use the word or search for the in depth meaning of the said word personally i would not have had any problem with their pose, self for the panties. For your information, i scrutinize my movies. i go for more mature storyline be it Nigerian or foreign. I don't just see movies because people are seeing it. enough said about that. answer this following questions.
1. this posters, where do they paste them for advertize? are they not pasted on the stress for everybody to see?
2. Will you restrict children walking on the street not to take a glance at the poster?
3. Most you see a woman's butt before you could actually decode the content with your brain?
4. if we agree that teenage pregnancy is on the high side in Nigeria, then is this film aiding teenage pregnancy or not?
5. What actually will be the moral of this film mere looking at the poster?
6. Would you be able to sit down with your adolescence niece, nephew of about 5years to watch this movie?
Most times people just comment using their immediate environment to comment. when you want to comment to a societal problem, do not use only lagos and it environs to comment. find out the social/ cultural effects on other locations. let call a spade a spade and try not encourage what is not right. I must not be a religionist, to speak against moral. at least moralist are not religionist.
