I assume you are referring to my post above yours. This is GIS and apart from the data capture technique which includes a GPS handheld device, Aerospace survey method and also Remote sensing techniques, all other are computer based. Remote sensing technique involves satellite imagery from satellites installed in outer space while Air-photos are taken when helicopters or airplanes fly over an area. You will be exposed to the use of the GPS and also 2 software packages will be installed on your laptop for onward practical based training. We do not own any satellites or airplanes but we have extensive data from recent photos that will be used in the training session. We are currently based in Ibadan.
