frst of all...dis particular droid dsnt show EDGE ntwrk,it jst shows "2g" or "4G"...nw to get it configured,goto settings,enter wireless network,den scroll down to mobile networks,u shuld c 3 boxing,tick d one dat says " data enabled",untick d 1 dat says "use only 2g netwrk",then enta access point names,if u c a blank screen it means u dnt hav any wrkin configuration,den pres ur "menu" button,select new apn,n configure it....if u wnt to use mtn bis,set "APN" as blackberry.net,scrol dwn,chng authentication type to pap/chap,den chng APN protocol to ipv4/ipv6...den aftr all d setin,pres menu again n save.....

u need to set a new apn. Go to acess point name then new apn, the second field is the apn. For airtel its internet.ng.airtel.com, mtn is web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net etisalat is etisalat. Thats all

Mtn doesnt seem to work on my g2. I was given 1gig by mtn. I put d sim on my fone and it just dissapeared. I tried it wit 5 mb and d same thing happened. And still no 4g or 2g comes up. Bro try d oda ntworks.

Yep. mtn works on my friends desire hd but nt on mine and I helped him wit d settings. Dnt know wats up wit it sha, as far as d airtel works well on it i'm all good
