Are u connected to the internet when using srs root and was ur usb debugging on......if everything is all up and still nt working then use vision perm root....though i doubt vision....it bleeps up sometimes......but u cn also try Z4ROOT ZTE BLADE on 4shared.com......jst install the app nd den lauch and yu ll see temp root or perm root....click perm root nd wait for like 15mins n ure done........ U cn also try to go online nd download universal and.root....google it out nd download the file nd den root....bt im nt jst sure if htc G2 can use universal and root.....check d website furst to know if it works..... Bt ZTE BLADE worked for many people.......so try it out....
When u successfully root the phone den we cn go thru flashing senseswitch......

jelly bean @code eater pls hlp i cant log in to pla store after installing this rom and gapps pla store worked for a couple of minte even when im usin phone browser it wont login to gmail and other website are working on the browser

has 4 Z4ROOT it hardly works for version 2.3.4

Hello everyone, even though I don't use this phone anymore i just found out that with a little tweaking you can use the 1500mah battery of the EVO 4g on this phone. If you are having battery problems this might give you extra juice.

@code eater pls I want to download mimicry from xda I saw main link and mirror pls which one should I download ls it both cuz there is another two link (main and mirror) for gapps separately will I download all four files or I should just ignore the mirror files

Chiscomax: i rooted my v2.3.4 using visionary. after so many trials to use srsroot. just download visionary and terminal emulator but make sure u have a file explorer installed in ur phone. install visionary and click open, click on the temproot botton and wait for lke 2 minutes. to confirm if your phone is rooteed, download root checker from google playstore and click the check root botton. if you have successfully rooted it, holla me and i will help u on how to make the root permanent in ur phone and how to install a new custom rom plus how to increase your ram because i am currently using 1.3gig ram
pls hw do i continue...already have s off and unlocked bootloader

how? Though I could use the normal BL-5CB Nokia battery when my normal battery runs down on same g2.
