to reduce consumption there are alot of things u could do, like change the data service from 3G to EGDE...
and close all data using application running in back ground, if u want to see what is running in back ground then on the home screen lay your thumb on the HOME key to pop out the running programs.

Olatimide: am installing font dat how it was bricked, i tried to undo it with a tutorial on this site with d flash tools app but its writing error 8038, as from then d phone never even on again! What to do pls?

Goto settings-sim management-3G service switch to automatic or yu off it datsall

yourmajesty247: i can't download anymore from playstore. it keeps running for hours without downloading. pls wat can i do to be able to download again from playstore. i'm able to download from other site except googleplay.

Check if your 3G is enabled if yes it should and don't restrick background data while accesing playstore and if it insist goto settings-apps-playstore -cleardata after dis go and launch it again and enter ur gmail login details datsall

Elovic4u: I forgot the pattern i used to lock my tecno Q1 screen, what should i do? Its asking me to log in to my google account, I have tried to log in through my google account but is not working. Doest that means i can't use the phone again?

hold power button+volume up
wait till yu c a android logo showing stock 3e recovery
then scroll to format/ clear data then ok

just gonna uninstall all the app you install but you can install them back
Nothing 's gonna happen to d phone av done it many tyms
