I can tell you aren't familiar with the swing library,the ones that come with d jdk7 re just 4,motif,nimbus,metal,windowsclassic,not to speak of the external look and feel api libraries written for the platform.the look and feel api's can make ur application skin look like anytyn,even a Mac gui.
