We pulld ova n bougth a small paint measure container worth cashew@ N150. Smh in dismay. If dis wer abroad, a juice processin plant wud b situatd der (nearnes to raw materials) and finl products exportd to big mkt (africa espcialy nig). Nigerian youths n aspiring entrepreneurs, wat can we do abt dis oportunity? Shud we keep screemin 'no jobs'? I dare us to act now!

This is a good eye opener. I just realize that there is no fruit juice drinks around that is based on cashew concentrate like we have for others fruit types. May be the processing companies will start looking in that direction because I remember several kilometres of cashew plantation as I journeyed along that axis in the past.

I love your reasoning bro.I think the 1st thing to do should be a small scale R and D.Engage a food scientist or a biochemist(don't know which is suitable for this).The task should be to develope samples with great taste,high nutritional value,long shelf life,etc.

@ op I think that there is an up coming chashew plantation by the state govtmt around Amansii, Eziagu. Will soon be a big company.

However, it is not easy for an individual to start up this business

What about palm oil production. They're many things one can start that can not only but food on your table but create employment to the teaming unemployed youths.
