I would contact the person who issued the cheque to me and explain to him. He would contact his bank for confirmation that I have not cashed the cheque. Then, I would advise him to do a bank transfer to my account so that the foolish rat will not eat the cheque a second time. Finally, I would tell the issuer of the cheque to advise his bank to place a stop cheque order on the cheque number of the cheque eaten by the stupid rat. |
