Always Search before posting a thread. Lets try and avoid redundancy and unnecessary repetitions on the board cos lots of topics have been well treated here. You should also refer to the The Phone Section Archive/Resource Library before posting a thread.

ALWAYS POST ON TOPIC/NO DERAILING
Garri posts, “how does this affect…”, “Nairaland is owned by…”, “this space is reserved”, questioning a topic’s worthiness of the Nairaland front page, etc., are considered off-topic posts and will be dealt with accordingly. NO ATTACKS, FIGHTS, BULLYING, or INSULTS
Period! Nairaland is a discussion forum, where disagreements are bound to occur. However, members must agree to disagree at times. Fights and attacks must be resolved amicably or taken off the site. Failure to do so will result in hidden posts and bans. Bullying is strictly prohibited and will result in ban(s).

NO HATEFUL and OFFENSIVE CONTENT
Comments inciting hatred, violence, murder, or any other ills against any race, ethnic/religious groups and TRIBES, gender, intimate orientations, or any group of people, are NOT tolerated. Disturbing or offensive posts or photographs are also NOT tolerated. Violators of this rule will be subject to hefty bans.

NO intimate CONTENT
Sexually explicit photos, videos are not allowed. Posts about intimate congress must be posted in the hidden section created for the purpose.

NO SPAMMING

Miscellaneous
- Thou shalt not deliberately post false information.
- Illegal actions are strictly prohibited. This includes piracy, cracking e.g. creating and distributing trojans and viruses, browsing cheats, etc. Nairaland must not be used to break the law.
- You may not post a link or an advert on any topic more than once.
- Posting another member’s picture(s) without his or her consent is not allowed and will result in consequences.
- The invasion of another user's privacy is strictly prohibited - ex: posting a member's full name. Members violating this rule will be banned.
- The use of multiple accounts without explicit permission of the forum administrator(s) is prohibited.
~Multiple accounts will be tolerated ONLY in cases where a member’s primary account is accidentally banned by Pyguru.
~Multiple accounts trying to go around a ban from a Nairaland moderator will be banned twice as long as the primary handle.
- Affiliate links, questionable investment schemes, MLM, HYIP, & get-rich-quick schemes are not allowed.
- It is a grievous offence to announce the death of a Nairaland member on the forum without the admin's explicit approval.
- Avoid posting using all capital letters, not only are capital letters difficult to read but they are associated with shouting and considered rude.


We take all of these seriously. A member in violation of any of these rules is subject to a ban.

Use the “Report to Moderator” button
It’s there for a reason folks. We do not subscribe to jungle justice or keyboard warriorism. If you see that a fellow member is violating the rules, please report the post to a moderator, briefly stating the violation. Moderators will be sure to respond to the reported post appropriately and in a timely fashion.

Use the “Search” function
It is very possible that someone has posted a topic or story that you want to best. Please use the “Search” function before starting any topic as yours may be a duplicate, which may result in your thread being locked.

Open threads in the proper sections

Some people might/are lazy to go to the link........no offence to any poster, but its true.
So I felt I should copy and paste it here so that no-one will come up with the excuse that he/she was unaware of the Rules & regulations governing NL.

So that everybody/poster will know and be held accountable for his/her actions.

Perhaps, you should consider modifying the title to be more generic.
