If world war 3 begins anytime soon, I think Africa would simply become an ally to one of the feuding parties, Africa simply cannot face any other continent in a war; they can only support one of the fighting continents.

A lot of countries have been building nuclear and atomic weaponary for decades now, USSR and USA were even close to starting a nuclear warfare in the late 70's but there is no single African country that has been permitted to build nuclear weapons in the NPT.

Also, the methods of warfare that would be used in the war would be immensely fierce, undetectable and fought with up to date/badass and modern war machines; not the under developed scrap we have in Africa.
There is also the possibility of man made natural destruction taking place i.e humans creating a large natural disaster such as an a tsunami, floods, volcanic eruption etc.
The main targets for any side is to destroy all fuel and power factories, such as oil, gas and electric, then national state capitols and military bases and since Africa hardly has any means to protect itself from such attacks, we would only take sides with one of the fighting superpowers (most likely the US) and hope to God that their opponents don't completely wipe out the continent with their nuclear weapons or sophisticated machinery before the war ends.

nice write up ms, are u chinise because ur anylysis of african military might is very poor, we may not have up to date weapons, but we quickly duplicate any machinery if the need arises.

Am not chinese. I didn't know that chinese people analyse African military might poorly.

Africa doesn't have any standard weapons to go to war with any world super power. I wasn't even being too critical, just stating the facts.
