Yeah, such sport is very dangerous.
I once dated an MMA fighter and always worried that something like this could happen.
Being fit and physically able to fight doesn't mean one can't die or suffer permanently as a result of fighting.

RIP to the young man.
At least he passed doing what he loved... undecided

MMA is the height of the Full Fighting Contact Sports. Full contact, practically all body parts & surfaces allowed to be used and targetted, chokes, holds, grabs, throws, e.t.c. If you've never been in a single martial art class or stepped into the ring in a combat sport, you just cant understand .
