larry_jayz: Pls read this touching story..

A certain rich businessman had a beautiful daughter, who fell in love with a guy who was a cleaner. When the girl's father came to know about their love, he did not like it at all, and so began to protest about it. Now it happened that the two lovers decided to leave their homes for a happy future.

The girl's father started searching for the two lovers but could not find them. At last, he accepted their love and asked them to come back home in a local newspaper. Her father said "If you both come back I will allow you to marry the guy you love, I accept that you loved each other truly." So in this way, their love won and they returned home.

The couple went to town to shop for the wedding dress. He was dressed in white shirt that day. While he was crossing the road to the other side to get some drinks for his wife, a car came and hit him and he died on the spot. The girl lost her senses. It was only after sometime that she recovered from her shock.

The funeral and cremation was the very next day because he had died horribly. Two nights later, the girl's mother had a dream in which she saw an old lady. The old lady asked her mother to wash the blood stains of the guy from her daughter's dress as soon as possible. But her mother ignored the dream.

The next night her father had the same dream, he also ignored it. Then when the girl had the same dream the next night, she woke up in fear and told her mother about the dream. Her mother asked her to wash the clothes which have blood stains immediately. She washed the stains but some remained.

Next night she again had the same dream she again washed the stains but some still remained. Next night she again had the same dream and this time the old lady gave her a last warning to wash the blood stain, or else something will happen. This time the girl tried her best to wash the stains, and the clothes nearly tore, but some stains still remained.

She was very tired. In the late evening the same day while she was alone at home, someone knocked at the door. When she opened the door she saw the same old lady of her dream standing at her door. She got very scared and fainted. The old lady woke her up... and gave her a blue box, which shocked the girl. She asked "What is this...?"

The old lady replied...

He doesn't need to invite the whole world to his wedding for God's sake. Let's rejoice with him and wish him a successful married life and stop getting worked up over the poor boy's choice of who to invite to his small quiet wedding. Why do you think he moved it abroad in the first place? Abegi, let sleeping dogs lie jare... cool

The thing tire me abeg. I guess it's because most of these oafs are young kids of the 'Soundcity' generation, so they cannot understand the immense contribution the duo of Keke and D1 made to the industry. Without these guys' trail blazing efforts, I doubt Nigeria's urban music industry would be where it is today.

Long before Channel O, MTV Base, Trace TV, etc, these guys were the only ones giving naija music unparalleled publicity on TV and radio. Besides, their Kennis Music/Primetime Entertainment frameworks laid the foundation for the music industry we have today. I know Nigerians are notoriously ungrateful and forgetful, but these guys deserve respect, whichever way you look at it; not insults.

coogar: 2face must be very silly not to have invited kennis music...
kennis music was the hype machine behind 2face at the turn of the millennium. even though kenny ogungbe and dayo adeneye can be annoying with their persona, they paved way for the naija hip-hop industry with acts like 2face, remedies, etc. regardless of the issues that could have transpired between them, kennis music put 2face on the map and they should have been invited. kanye west will not marry without inviting jay-z.

Many Nigerians seem to suffer from amnesia, especially in terms of remembering peoples' good deeds. Unfortunately, they always remember the bad deeds. Keke and D1 can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned man; I grew up 'with' these guys - since their Ray Power days in the mid 90's, AIT Jamz days in the late 90's, and Primetime/Kennis Music days in the 2000s.

Their impact on the development of contemporary naija music cannot be quantified, which is why it pains me to see kids insulting them merely for the 'crime' of belonging to a past generation. I expected Tuface to know better. He of all people should forever appreciate the role of the Kennis/Primetime family in his career and the industry. It's terrible to see people being so carried away by current successes that they conveniently forget their humble beginnings.

Being invited or not, he should be there at least for old time sake. Would it be wrong for him to be present at the wedding ceremony, goes straight to Tuface pull his ear and say " o boy, why you no come invite me now" and laugh it all out. peace will reign with this, except both parties have scores to settle.

These two helped put Naija hip hop music on the pedestal where it is today, no doubt. A lot of peeps here don't know jack about Naija music, as many of them started following since the days of terry G. That said, I think it is not up to us to really judge what might have transpired between 2face and the keke/d1 duo. We don't know if any invite was extended or not, their grouse might even be the way it was extended not the absence thereof. It is their bizniz, so let them deal with it.
