Why Are Chelsea Fans Bitter About The Semi Final Match Against Man City? by thegoodjoehunt(m): 10:30pm On Apr 14, 2013

In the FA Cup Semi Finals today, Chelsea players, manager and Fans are acting as if they were robbed. It clearly wasn't the case. Yes Aguero was wrong to stamp on David Luiz like that but Luiz should have been off the pitch a long time ago. He kept on fouling and dangerously tackling the CITIZENS. Chelsea players never cried foul.

When Yaya Toure was tripped when he was about score, Chelsea players never cried foul. As soon as some calls came in favor of Man City, the same people who were mute to the constant fouling of Yaya, Aguero and Tevez started crying of daylight robbery.

Finally two comments from DailyMail that really explains my point:

[b]Foy just doesn't have the balls to give a penalty or a RED. . The foul on Toure as he was about to pull the trigger was a penalty and by virtue of the fact that he was pulling the trigger when the foul came in must also be a RED. The foul on Torres was also a penalty and being the last man should also have resulted in a RED. And the Aguero incident - obviously the Aguero foul was the most serious but the preceding Luiz elbow and the Aguero 2 footed foul should have seen both players walk. Both teams can feel fortunate to have 10 men on the pitch but the media seems to be somewhat one-sided in their match verdict. The Torres and Aguero incidents really only influenced the match if you choose to ignore the Toure penalty shout and the Luiz elbow. The truth of the matter is the team that deserved to win based upon the overall play came away with a Wembley date. The only question now is what Foy says he saw from a couple of yards away looking right at the incident

David Luiz, Segio Aguero and Fernando Torres should all have been sent off. Luiz for the initial elbow in the Aguero incident, Aguero for his retaliation and Torres for raking Aguero shortly after. If Torres had been sent off, there would be no penalty appeal. The only controversy left then would be the incident where Yaya Toure was about to score and was tripped from behind. Nothing given

If the call goes in favor of Chelsea, the fans say, "NA GOD". For instance the two handballs against Chelsea in the second leg against Benfica FC.

If the call goes against them, ROBBERY. angry

I think both Chelsea and Man City should have had a penalty - clearly no attempt to play the ball as Toure's feet were clipped as he was about to shoot. And Kompany should also have conceded a penalty for his handful of shirt. And I will also hold my hands up to say that the Aguero challenge was a straight red - but the elbow on Aguero that caused the retaliation also could quite easily have resulted in a RED too. To be fair, it was the right result based upon the balance of play where City clearly in control. But typical City making a game of it despite being in control for a majority of the game.

I am not against Chelsea fans being bitter about losing the game. I am asking why are they bitter because the Torres foul didn't go Chelsea's way, when a clear foul on Yaya wasn't giving and Chelsea fans turned a blind eye.
