An inductive or capicitive element in a circuit implies it is in an Ac mode,to convert it to dc we use a rectifier, which are made of of diodes. note;wen u re connecting an electronic equipment to an ac source(220v.ac) to a lesser voltage u need a transformer and a rectifier(collection of diode) |
