This is the upcoming 2014 Mercedes GLA concept. Its based on the same front-wheel-drive platform as the A,B, and CLA class- hence, the engines/transmissions are going to be shared with its siblings. The entry level engine is likely to the same 208bhp 2.0 inline four powering the CLA,front-wheel-drive and All-wheel-drive variants will be available, in addition to a high-performance AMG variant (with 300bhp+) paired to 7spd dual clutch transmission (DCT). The GLA's key rivals will be the BMW X1,Audi Q3 and the upcoming 'baby' Lexus RX (which will essentially be a toyota RAV4 in an Armani suit).

Oh My God, this is sweet. It looks like a mid size suv, looks like its well balanced and could stick to the ground as it increases its speed. But I feel that its under powered with a 2.0 inline engine. 50:50 power ratio at the wheel against a 3.0l V6 engine will make it sprint better .
