PAGAN 9JA: Aren't MOST Africans 'black'? Or are you linking black with BA only? |
Re: Black Man N The White Man by PAGAN9JA(m): 12:05pm On Apr 23, 2013 |
KidStranglehold: by black i mean like of mixed descent. im not using it as skin colour here. AAs = black. to me, since they refer to themselves as such. |
Re: Black Man N The White Man by Nobody: 12:10pm On Apr 23, 2013 |

Hilarious as the pik is, Its still Nonsense In my case i am Self taught and swim like a fish! Side stroke, back stroke, float, deep dive, whatever... The problem is though, that most black women who are Not natural (fake hair and make up) or who are trying to look Cute infront of the guys, wont get in the pool. Likewise some of the guys are afriad of looking like suckers lol. So egos also play a role. 2 Likes |

PAGAN 9JA: How are we afraid the waters when we bath on river banks and fish oceans with out life guard. If we dont jump in waters its then that we know hippo croc python or water borne disease are waiting, not because we tropical people dont do what even the elephant do which is water pool to cool themselves. Somehow those white with a modern facility will say no we are those tradition swimmer even though black construct the first pool with filter system. Really in the north pole? Great its a constant freeze and you to dip as a sport? Am I going to trip myself on a laugh here. You don't get 144 foot ships into ocean by being water afraid. First whites tell us anything and what do we do we run with it like baton. Next they might say africans afraid of heights only because when don't play tight rope across skyscraper even though we construct first skyscraper. Future they might say we are afraid of the fire because we dont walk it! |
Re: Black Man N The White Man by PAGAN9JA(m): 8:03pm On Apr 23, 2013 |
heavenly_nzinga: which is why I highlighted the difference between Africans and black-americans with regards to the water. again its wrong to generalize based on this race, because many African Tribes, who live near the rivers, such as the Ijaw, etc., are excellent swimmers. |

*Kails*:well as you know most of the english speaking islands in the caribbean have a similar accent save for where i'm from st.lucia or the island of dominica who sound more like english speaking africans from the motherland example nigerians |
Re: Black Man N The White Man by kandiikane(m): 2:55pm On Jul 25, 2013 |
*Kails*: I think it's the other way round. You get those in weaves who don't mind getting their weaves wet whilst the au naturels want to stay well away to avoid shrinkage and frizz? |

ISLANDBOY91: well as you know most of the english speaking islands in the caribbean have a similar accent save for where i'm from st.lucia or the island of dominica who sound more like english speaking africans from the motherland example nigerians you think so? the only african countries (imo) that have similar accents to the caribbean are Liberia and Sierra Leone only because some of our people settled there (freetown and monrovia). Liberians more so tho. and they kind of sound like Bajans to me |
Re: Black Man N The White Man by Nobody: 7:27am On Jul 26, 2013 |
kandiikane: in some cases that's true!! you do have a point there. |
