Gareth Bale has been named PFA player of the year AND young player of the year in a glitzy ceremony in London.
The 23-year-old Welshman joins Cristiano Ronaldo (2007) and Andy Gray (1977) in winning the both awards in the same year.
The Spurs forward beat the likes of Manchester United striker Robin van Persie, who currently leads the race for the Golden Boot, and controversial Luis Suarez, who is serving a 10-game ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic last week, to the top award.
