So I just received my invite for the aptitude test on 07/12/2013. Thing is, I applied for the 2013/14 session and I am pretty sure the school I applied to have already written their first semester exams. What is the plan for those that this applies to?

d test questions are always drawn from multidisciplinary sources ... oil n gas, ict, current affairs, etc. and some set of questions from your chosen area of interest... i am still digging for more info.. dis is d little i know now

You should try www.pass1time.com for free practice CBT materials. Try all the relevant ones. The exams on the site are timed as if you are doing the actual exam. So visit the site as if you are doing the exam.

You need not register on the site, but if you choose to register, you can take mock exams and compare your score with your colleagues. I wish you every success in the exams.

Finally indeed PTDF decided 2 hold OSS Test.

When I applied last year, I was shortlisted for test. When this new advert came out, I tried to update some credentials, I could not. And since it was said, no need to apply again, I did not bother. Now, when I check status again, it says, not shortlisted for test. I had attached my nysc ID card, because as at the time i applied last year, I was still serving, but passed out in JUne. Its just annoying.

For, those who have been clamouring for the format of the test, this is it;

The test consists of three parts.

Part one is the general paper which consists of 50 questions with multiple choice answers. You are advised not to make any guesses at the answers as you will lose mark for any incorrect answer.

Part two seeks to determine your ability to express yourself very well in English language. There are ten questions in this part but you are required to answer only one which is related to your area of specialization.

Part three is to test your technical competence. There are eight sections here, you are to chose the section that relates to your course of study.
