i graduated from a state university about a year ago (will be finishing nysc next month) and i have only my statement of result.
do companies such as banks, oil and gas, telecoms e.t.c accept statement of result in place of a degree certificate?
for those of you who attended state universities:
pls, how long does it take for the degree certificate to be ready?
or is any special process required for the collection?
please your replies will be highly appreciated.
thanks.

Of course they do! Statement of result is a valid document.
Issuance of your certificate depends on the efficiency of your school administration and is not based on whether you attended a state university or not. So concentrate on getting information on that from your school.
